SUMMARY:Data Publication 1
DESCRIPTION:This session covers how to create reproducible research and literate programming documents using knitr\, Sweave\, Quarto\, blogdown\, and bookdown. \nThe RStudio environment enables the easy creation of documents in various formats (HTML\, DOC\, PDF) using Rmarkdown\, while knitr allows the incorporation of executable R code to produce the tables and figures in those documents. Sweave provides more advanced LaTeX typesetting\, and Quarto provides even more flexibility and functionality. The blogdown and bookdown packages allow the easy creation of formatted documents in both web-compatible and print formats. This session introduces these concepts and other packages and practices supporting reproducibility with the R environment. \nWorkshop conducted via Zoom. Register to receive the Zoom link with instructions on how to connect. \nSupplemental materials are available at https://libguides.rutgers.edu/data_topics \nInstructor: Ryan Womack \n\n\nRelated LibGuide: Data Topics by Ryan Womack \nDate:Tuesday\, November 17\, 2026 \nTime:2:00pm – 3:30pm \nTime Zone:Eastern Time – US & Canada (change) \nDivision:New Brunswick \nEvent Type:   Workshop   Topics:   Data \nOnline:This is an online event.
